Leah Reed is a Licensed Professional Counselor who earned her MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Toledo. In addition to her clinical work, Leah was also a member of a research team at The University of Toledo studying counselor wellness integration strategies and has guest lectured at The University of Toledo and Palo Alto University.
Leah is a trained EMDR therapist who utilizes a warm, person-centered approach with her clients that helps to foster a resilient therapeutic relationship. Additionally, Leah utilizes evidenced-based practices of cognitive-behavioral therapy and solutions-focused therapy to assist clients creating meaningful change in their lives. Leah has experience working with adolescents, college aged adults, and adult populations on a variety of issues including anxiety, OCD, depression, trauma, life changes, identity, grief, and self- harming behaviors. She is passionate about working with diverse clients, especially members of the LGBTQ+ population.
Leah also offers couples therapy and is a Level One Gottman trained couples counselor.
When not doing clinical work, Leah enjoys spending time with her family, her golden retriever, practicing yoga, and reading.
