Elizabeth is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and Licensed School Counselor in the state of Ohio. Elizabeth patiently enjoys working with children, adolescents, and their families. Elizabeth identifies the importance of family involvement to yield the most effective therapeutic results. Elizabeth’s strength as a counselor is building a positive therapeutic relationship with her clients, and their families. She utilizes positive regard and an existential-humanistic framework in her counseling relationships and supports clients through cognitive-behavioral therapy, play, and narrative therapies.
As a duly licensed counselor, Elizabeth understands the importance of collaborating with the schools and families to provide a more holistic approach to client care. Elizabeth has spent her career focusing on the treatment of trauma, grief, and mood disorders, using evidence-based approaches specific to each individual’s needs.
Elizabeth has continued her education, pursuing additional trainings in Play Therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Focused Play, Substance Abuse, Autism Spectrum Disorders, and Developmental Disorders.
In her spare time, Elizabeth enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and cheering on the Cleveland sports teams. Elizabeth is also an advocate of physical wellbeing and participates in multiple sports to keep active and promote an overall healthy lifestyle.
